Mangos News Window?

Hey all,

I just wanna know if there is a way to make your own News Window... or atleast write wut U want it in.

Its the window when u get to the login screen. With the news of downtimes and WTV.

If there is a way plz tell me and if i need to DL something tell me link plz...

You can't. The news window when you load up your world of warcraft client is downloaded from blizzard, hence the request for an outside connection to their servers. You could however, add a news popup when players load into the game, plus a command to toggle it. I am not entirely sure how to go about doing this, but it IS possible to setup.

---- btw out of topic like this... when i clik on my characters table in MySQL thing... it sais that it is crashed and should be repaired...

Any one knowes how to repair it without just importing a characters.sql file? ----

it can be customized. there was a guide for that way long ago.
I remember you needed to edit hosts file to overtake the connection to blizzard server, and then run web server on your own machine and everything is put on index.{don't remember, but not html,php}. suggesting to search, but it migth be quite hard, as it's really old..

im not sure about the news part, but i know you can edit gui and tos becuase there in your client in html format
