MaNGOS or Antrix

I am interested in setting up a WoW server.

Can anyone give me any idea which way to go please, ie which version to set up.

I appreciate that both versions will have different things working.

It is for help and updates to help untill i get my head around this.

I have extensive knowledge in mir2/3 and woool but have not tried WoW since the early days of WoW emulation developement.

any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Use Mangos 2.0.12 and wait for a stable version of Antrix, then use the DB converter

mangose of course!Because mangos hasn't got many bugs how antrix and it is easier to config mangos

From my experience, both have extensive documentation, and both have their set of issues. It really comes down to a matter of preference.

If you gonna run a fun server, choose mangos.
If you gonna run a blizzlike server, choose antrix.
