Mangos port forwarding (connection thru router) - HELP!
Hello
i have an problem, ill try to describe it:
i have router (sagem lifebox3202) and compuer used to be a wow serwer. i forwarded from router to that computer ports:
3306, 3724, 3443, 6112 and 8085 (do i missed somethin'?). And i still cant join into that serwer.
it looks like that:
i am running wow, than log in without any problems, then wow jump to character choose menu, i am picking my character, pressing ok and wow start load himself. when the loading bar is on 100% wow stops, and then doing nothing.
i add that my serwer works well without router, so the problem must be there...
and second thing, yesterday my friend connected to the world once, but we dont know how, and he has latency much higher than normal...
Can someone help me?

ok i dont know much about this but from what i can gather is double check you have all the ports open for everything on your router and then check your firewall you will need to open ports through the firewall also if your using windows firewall you can open the ports by going to network connections right clicking on your internet connection and then properties>advanced>setup.
Also make sure you have everything setup for WAN on the actual server if your friend connected once than this should be true but check it anyway
maybe someone else could give some input?

If you are looking for help, ALWAYS put the name of emulator/server you are using. What version/revision database and stuff like that. Most poeple are not psychic and can't help much if they don't know what you are using.
With all the right settings i can't host a wow server. I have to absolutely have DMZ open on the host machine or my friend won't be able to connect trough internet. I would try to open DMZ for the server. If it works, double check everything. For myself i gave up and keep DMZ open 24/7. With DMZ open you are open to everybody on the internet and vulnerebale to attacks. Be careful.

1st, my problem isnt with wow serwer, rather than router
2nd, i dont have there option dmz, so i need to handle it in other way
my serwer is mangos 3309, with sdb 0.6.2.
i only need info what ports are used to connect with serwer or how should i do that configuration, to it works
