Hello m8's.
First i wanna say thx to Jacobite for this nice ManGos picture, it helps a lot and makes a "special" touch.
Thx Urbin for your Mangos Revision 2804 ,SDB Team for their lates DB and Updates and Drakelord for your special SQL server help.

Now to the point:

Sometimes i asked for an easier running of mangos, without any additional knowledge of an sql server.
Nowbody helped my, but i learned much and worked a bit into mangos ^_-

Now after a little work of a week a came up with this:

With easy words:
Check the Readme-File after Installation, run ManGOS.exe after installation, and click on the seperate starting links....DONE!

SQL Server is already included and preconfigured!
Just "Click 'N' Play" ^_-
Get it or let it

NOTE: If you don't like the included mini-sql server...no problem!
Check the \diskw\usr\local\mysql\data\ folder and copy the mangos + realmd folders to YOUR MySQL Data-Folder

(A little extra information provided by my own experiences:)
Note 1: Be sure you dont have Skype open! This program makes the SQL database (run.bat) unable to run correctly.

Note 2: Be sure you dont have any MySQL or Apache running when you run start.bat! Close down your current MySQL server if you have one running (uninstall is not required, just close it - Use: ctrl+alt+del, and find process "mysql-nt" and close it.. Also close "Apache" if any of those are running.)

Note 3: To make sure that start.bat is loaded successfully, a webpage comes up. When it comes up, wait 5 seconds, and then refresh it. If the page cannot be accessed or showed anymore, you have something that blocks for mysql to start! If it comes up with the exact same page again, loading was a success and you can go on.

This Setup will be updated if i got time and some new, big process is made.

all credit's not to me i did nothing i found it it maid by some guy known as "gamefreakfatty" lol i personally do not trust it cuz' it's like TBC revs and it wasn't made to be with 2.0.1 but you can try it...

Ragezone is the best for mangos as i see for now:)
BTW if you run mangos 28xx and yet it crashes...BUY MORE RAM AND HDD
i'm running this repack now with pentium dualcore and 2.5 GM of ram and it never crashes:) sry for i'm not opening a PUBLIC SERVER but it's a lil' hard cuz i got only 16KB/s upload:(

I run this server , and when i make Worrior or Hunter( dont remember good ) , i click on a skill to run it .. it just .. disconnect me off and server is offline ...


aaa and one more , if you try to spawn a creature , you have to restart the database.... because where you spawn that mob, all ppls get disconnect and big error when they arive there...

So... try to fix it ..

I've been using wowemu for about 4 years but this is my 1st experience with mangos so please be gentle.
I can't seem to figure out teleport or .go to instances like Molten Core or Onyxias lair. I don;'t know where to find the coordinates or if there's an easier way.

Also, I went to onyxias lair and she wasn't there. how do I find the creature id's in mangos so I can spawn her?

Is there a way for a gm to make a player a gm like setting his level to 3 from within the game? I read in the dummy guide that you can do it from with the dos window but I can;t type fast enough with all the zepplins and ferrys moving.

I really did try to use the search function for the forum but when there are 12 pages for one thread the answer could be anywhere.

me again...I'm desparately trying to get this server running for internet use but I can't figure out the whole put this io where deal. I'm running a router and I have a no-ip address setuo so do I put my router 192.168..blah blah into evertything, my ipchicken.com external address or my noip dns server.no-ip.com address into everything? what EXACTLY do I need to change because I've found like 6 places where 127.0.0.1 already is. please help!!

I followed the dummy guide and I think tried all the addresses everywhere I could find but I'm not familiar with sql and stuff so I'm probably just missing some where it's still 127.0.0.1 and no my ip (or whatever its supposed to be because I'm not sure about that either) any help at this point would be awesome. thanks everyone. i have this error at starting realmd and mangosd what can i do to fix this error ?
