ok i did everything Wrote in the 5/2/07 update and I it dosent work for me
I changed the 127.0.0.1 in the realmd.conf and mangosd.conf files (because I have a router) to 192.168.1.xx and i also changed ip in the realmlist.wtf file that is in the wow client folder (btw the website is working and i can create accounts but it says its offline though) but when I try to log in it says "unable to connect"
what did I do wrong?
is there another file I need to edit?

If im not wrong u shouldnt change the ip´s in teh conf files, just in the realmd DB, im using in lan and inet mode here w/o change the conf files, just use a DynDNS like no-ip or whatever u ppl use and put this in ur server hosts file (windows):
192.168.xxx.xxx urdns.urdyndnshost.com
Eg: 192.168.0.1 mytbcserver.servegame.com
Works nice for me, im downloading this repack now to tryout im using the old 1.12.2 client but i want try the new stuff of TBC.
ok I changed the ip back to 127.0.0.1 and it works but now i get a realm loop =(
K first, applause to Dj for this wonderful release. Another stepping stone for the TBC repack. I had it working and tested the whole repack for runtime stability and I've made it past 2 hours of non-stop running anywhere. :lol:. First base done!
Now I would like to point out some critical errors I got, please use this reply as a reference of what should be done next with the revision. I have tried and got these errors from my Blood Elf and Night Elf characters, playing from my personal LAN.
1. Tele-bug is existent - Yeah the annoying and the almost immortal tele-bug is still existing, I wouldn't want to touch the database for now since I'm not sure what revision it was made from and the compatibilities it bears.
2. Why is cockatrice an alliance based mount? - I've been scrolling the item_template and got excited about the cockatrice mount. I was frozen to find out that it has been coded for the alliance, not blood elves. And also, casting the item indicates a Summoning Mystsaber and Frostsaber. Apparently , a field may have been messed up. Again, no touch in my behalf.
3. The Ship gets stucked - I tried the ship and I never made it past auberdine, the ship stops before it crosses the veiled sea. Then stays there. I think there is something wrong with the ship script but I haven't checked it out yet.
4. The first quest of NE - The Balance of Nature quest gives me a handler error for WoW.exe. I wouldn't count that it belongs to my client since other quests like A good friend and Tenaron's Call works alright. Not only the Conservator's quest but I'm pretty sure that there are still a few or maybe more. I'll update you guys again.
5. I can't train the Tame for NE Hunter - Yes I can't, the NPC doesn't have that quest Icon and worst of all, when I had this idea of visiting the Dolaanar Moonwell, I was shocked that the Druid Trainer has this quest above his head. I checked it out and got horrified that I was about to initiate the Bear Form quest chain. Maybe you would be kind enough to check that also.
6. The TBC Item DB is far from completion - I only saw Tier5 items, but I was searching for the Gryphon Mounts and got nothing. What core was this DB you used based? It might help us alot if we are gonna try to update this.
7. The Battleground seems to be having map errors - No, not it seems, It states that the Battleground map for Warsong is outdated which is unlikely. Got any ideas?
Well I fairly believe that there are still a lot of those errors around and I will be glad to point them out one by one. But in exchange, you'll have to promise our community to fix those one by one. I'll be glad to back you up If my skills would be of any aid. Godspeed matey!

yes, realmlist.wtf is correct, the server is on his computer, I'm connecting over the lan, I do have an account on the server, I have the correct version of wow.....
The main reason the teleport bug exists is because of duplicate objects in the same coordinates. I just cleared out my gameobject_grid, and im just gonna wait until an update to put them back in. Yea I still have a problem with freezing but its not as common as it used to be.Quote:

The item database is only temporary because of the difference of forms varying from different versions. It will be fixed at a later date.Quote:

I tried to give this a run.
But upon running start.bat i keep getting the error
PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'usr/local/PHP/extensions\php_mysql.dll'
Anyone know what causes this and/or how to fix?

Make sure before you run start.bat that:
1. Mysqld-nt.exe is not running
2. You have .Net Framework 2.0 installed
3. Another instance of Apache is not running
4. Skype is not running
If that doesn't fix it; try redownloading, maybe it is just corrupted.
Put in realmd DB ur dyndns address (eg: urwowserver.servegame.com)
If plan to use in lan also, make another realm in this DB, and put ur lan ip there, this should make it work for both.

Still locked in the realm list... Any other ideas?
I have the database, maps, everything working fine. No errors when starting the server, but when attempting to connect, it just sticks at "handshaking".
