Mangos Trouble

Ive been trying to start a server for quite a while now. Everything is set up, but when I try to open Mysql (Which I have installed and re-installed 4 times) it tells me to enter my password, and when I do, my motherboard beeps and it closes.

Maybe you might've already guessed, but, you probably put in the wrong password, and if there is a password, try root, and if that doesn't work, then I don't know, i have never use/encountered something like this, all my MySQL's never had passwords. Good Luck trying to figure something out if this doesn't work.
