[MANGOS] Upgrading from a 1.12.x private server to TBC

hi! i have a mac, and i followed the Mac OSX guide to compile my mangos, it works (i know that because when i try to login i get a version error) i wanted to know how to overcome that error, i've seen many guide that help to setup the mangos to TBC, and since i already have everything made, i only folowed the MySQL and the DBC/maps part. Is that enough? if not what else do i need to do?
