Mangos Webpage fix

What you need



-Working mangos +website <- " the website wil work later "

- XAMPP

-Time


This is my firts guid , and maybe not so good like all the rest of you people , make bud everything works just fine :o)

STEP 1

So if you have fully installed Mysql +Navicat+mangos and set it up without any error , and it is up to date ( Realmdbinfo ,.... ) and ist running like an baby , then the only thing you guy's and girls need to do is , manipulate XAMPP , dont ask me Where all of that came from i dont now , it just came truh me and it works so here it comes :o) bling bling

Firts just install Xampp like a good Ragezoner told us to do "
Kiasta " (ps only install nothing more + dont change anything inC:\Program Files\xampp\apache\conf\extra,..that file httpd-vhosts,..leave it like it is) .. If you have done that we are gonna fix php and the nice webpage That the Other Good member have showing us " Trashmaster " .

Step 2

Now we need to fix the phpadmin thing so you can watch your SQL file from mangos in there .
We do next .

- Go here <---> " C:\Program Files\xampp\phpMyAdmin "

and seek for this file " CONFIG.INC "

Open it with notepad

You wil see something like this

config.sample.inc file , open it and seek for this

Oki that part its finish. save it and leave it like this


step3

Then click on the icone of xampp... so you can go to the controle panel aplication
(you can find it , right where the clock is ) ,Then you click on admin next to apache .(" ps Mysql and apache need to be running ") so you go to this adres or page http://localhost/xampp/ , if you see that page , just click left in the option bar on PHPADMIN .If the page of phpadmin shows everthing is oki , otherwise you need to go back to step 2

Here we are gonna test if mysql is working , so look left and click on DATABASES and see if you can choose all of the SQL file that you have executy for mangos server , there you can change all like you need to chang it . Now open realmd by clicking on it , and seek for the realmlist, then click on realmlist , then click on Browse , then normaly you see the realmlist table , there you need to change the adress to THE IP or TO YOUR NO-IP

for people with a static ip give your ip there in adress part (or the ip you like to choose)
for people ho have a no -ip dns set you no-ip also there in adress (or the ip you like to choose)

then go to the right where you see DBINFO (if you have update your realmld )

and change there also the dbinfo to for example if you have i no-ip like me , then it woud be like this "g-s.no-ip.biz;3306;root;root;mangos " remember this is for me , you need to change it like you need to do it like this YOUR-IP;3306;YOUR-USER;YOUR-PASS;mangos , if you have don it , then this is also OK ,

Step 4 the final (the one i have try to fixed for days )

HERE for the webpage so every one can go to the page for account creation and stuff like that , you need to cut some file from the xampp and simple set the WEB page file in it .... hehe strange but it works , bling bling

SO go here <---> C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs and there we are gonna set alle the NICE WEBPAGE rev093 FILE , but you need to cut the other files out and set them in a folder on your descktop , maybe you can fix it that both work ?. :o) I dont now anything abouth apache or php , but this works great for me .If you have put all the file from tat websitepage thing , you can chek it , if it works , just give in the addresbar this in 127.0.0.1
and the webpage shows without errors

ps dont forget to use the latest websitepack here the link otherwise you got errors

problem fixed its was my no-ip adres

i have now i client that update my no-ip add

chek out if you can log in and g-s.no-ip.biz <-- webpage addr

set realmlist g-s.no-ip.biz

webpage is set bud not compleet wit all of the nice stuff , soon comming
remember is only for testing soon it wil be , a real server :o)
