    missing vmdir?

alright, so I've been messing around with this for quite a while now, and it's come down to this one thing that's holding me back from continuing. so now I'm here, seeing if anyone can assist in my little dilemma.

what my problem is; is that I'm missing ".vmaps/000_43_31.vmdir" when I try to run mangosd.exe

my only thoughts is that I have a mangosd that's too new, a bad vmaps extractor, or it's for some odd reason missing completely from the game itself.

any suggestions/assistance would me much appreciated...and I'll update this if I manage to get it to work somehow.

add: my only other thoughts if none of these other things I'm trying don't work is somehow disabling that vmap id via the conf file. I just don't know what the 'id' would be.

I'm thinking it may have been a bad extraction cause I'm getting a lot more files this second time around. I'm gonna let it run over night and hope it's there when I wake up.

well...I got that part working anyway, but now there's another problem when loading items in mangosd.

Error in 'item_template' table, probably sql file format was updated [there should be 132 fields in sql]

I started knowing nothing about any of this about a couple weeks ago. I've been reading tutorial after tutorial for the longest time and just using my usual computer common sense.

what that, so far: I managed to get it all running up to logging into a real in-game, getting a website up and running, including port forwarding everything I need in order to do it. Oh, and several headaches.rofl

    Re: missing vmdir?

sorry if I'm getting a little annoying, I just want to get this darn thing going and be on my way, but I can't seem to get it to load the realm in-game. if I can't get this working, I'm gonna have to try something else, which is where my question comes in...

if this doesn't work, I may try switching over to ascent, so I was wondering what people thought about it so far...is it easier, does it work as well, would it be easy to convert over, etc...

ok, don't mind me anymore. I switched over to ascent, and it's running.
