Hey guys...When I get to the step in mysql for Mangos where you have to execute it I get "Error:0" I don't know what's causing this...I believe my firewall is turned off (if it's the box you uncheck in my network places)... Anyone know how I can fix this error and/ or if I'm looking in the right place for my firewall. Many thanks.

So that eliminates the Mysql process? Or is that supposed to fix the error? Thanks for the link.

if you're trying to install only mysql... don't... it isn't needed :)

Just go to AppServNetwork and download the latest version... during the install enable old passwords and innodb. Restart your workstation and you have a webserver too.. :)

After u installed this packet u can make it from the guide at the previous link.

Hmm, That didn't seem to fix the problem. It wasn't installing mysql it was in the Mysql Server instance Config wizard where yuo have to hit execute. I keep getting the "Error:0" even after installing what you told me to, Sorry I've been trying to get a server up for some time now, Thanks for the help.

Correct, when I hit execute it says Error:0 thats all =(

i`m familiar with this one ... looks like mysql fails to start his service from services ... and if u go there manualy the same thing ...
try unninstaling mysql and reinstall
but afterd the unninstal do some reg cleanup and services cleanup also after instal in config on mySQL try more ways ... thats the last i can say

Hmm, Not sure what you mean by cleanup but I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling it and doing different things in the process =(

if you uninstal mysql you must not forget the manualy delete the FOLDRE of mysql after that you install the fresh new mysql , normally that is enough
