[NCDB] Why Aren't the Ascent SQL Updates Integrated?

Does anyone have some info on this?

When a new NCDB revision is released, whether it be here or through SVN, I still have to apply the ascent SQL updates of 23XX, like the 2325 Creature Names (or else I don't have any NPCs). Personally, I'd think something like that would immediately be integrated in to the latest SVN release as soon as possible. Is there a reason why it isn't? NCDB is only used with Ascent, correct?

I'm not complaining, just wondering; I know the NCDB team is hard at work with more major things, but since the sql updates for ascent are so small, I was curious.

Most of the SQL Updates are implemented. After a SQL change is released on Ascent SVN, it usually ends up integrated in the NCDB world DB a few revisions later.

Two more questions:

1) Aside from the forums (ascent, ragezone, etc), is there a consolidated location of information, like a wiki, around?

2) Is there a place that has details of how the database actually works? As in, how the tables are linked, what they actually do, etc?
