Need help with a few tweaks

I have been playing around with MaNGOS for about 2-3 weeks now. I know programming, SQL, etc so most of it makes sense so far. When hosting my server I am running into just a few small issues that don't make a huge deal but things I want to fix. The following is a list of things I can't seem to figure out...

1) .lookupskill and .learnskill have disappeared lately in the versions I'm using. I know I've used them in the past - every update I use lately seems to get worse with commands.

2) When I train a paladin through a trainer and get all the auras I get an interface error due to multiple auras of the same type appearing in the aura bar. It loads 2-3 defensive, 2 of each resistance, etc causing the bar to fill up and not have room for them all. It's UIParent.lua:1882.

3) Judgement for the paladin seems very hit and miss as far as versions.

There are a few other small details but I can't recall them atm. I suppose my main question is just figuring out whether scripts or the database effect most of this stuff. Thanks for any help!

Extra Info: I have used many many version of MaNGOS, SDB, sql updates, maps, etc in order to put together a customized server.
