need some help seting up asent

hey having some problems seting up acent.my question is do u need to run the realmserver.bat? if so geting this error
E Database: One or more errors occured while connecting to databases.
checked the config files so many times cant find whts the problem the other 2 bat files work fine. i was reading in a guide saying to run acent and loginserver.bat i do works good i can connect but when it comes to making the char and then i click finish i get diconnected . i check the database the chars not their
