Ok I have noticed some pretty crappy public Funserver Databases so I decided to start a new Project! The first person I asked to help me was Gastric of course, and then we got to work on ideas. Let me tell you some stuff about the Database

Website :: NGDB [still under majo Development][My CS Clans site if they werent such idiots not to use it][Will be Officially complete within a few days]

What is Next Generation Database?
Next Generation Database is a Database for Funservers. It will contain tons of new additions to the world of warcraft that is not contained in Blizzard like Databases.

What are some of the Custom Features that it will contain?

1 Starting area for each Faction:
--- 1 for Horde [All Races]
--- 1 for Alliance [All Races]

Shopping Centers:
--- 1 for Horde
--- 1 for Alliance

Some Extra Instances:
--- Old Hyjal
--- The Crypt
--- Grimmjaws Lair [Something like the Onyxia Encounter]

Some Extra Goodies:
--- Escape From Alcaz Island [Event]
--- Possibly a group of new quests and of course more creatures and etc.
This DB will be perfect for Levels 80+ since there will be New
--- Quests/Creatures for High Levels

Hey julianx, don't know how much help i would be, but i do know sql and am interested in working on db development. Problem is, i'm not that knowledgeable of WoW as I've only been playing for about a year, and no experience with retail. If you feel you could use my help, just let me know

Not sure what exactly I could do, but my knowledge of the Ascent DB engine is, at least in my opinion, fairly advanced. I'm also learning GM Script at the moment, and would love the chance to have somrthing completely original that I helped create.
