No Characters.. Help Please

Hi, When i log on to my private server it doesnt show any of the characters that i have made. On the server batch files it shows that i made the character it just doesnt show it where ur characters should be in-game where u enter world and stuff. I am using Ascent and tnps db I have no idea what is making this happen i dont even know where to start i restarted everything and it still doesnt work does ne one know what it could possibly be?
And it is making the characters because i cant use that name again. It just doesnt show the characters on the right side where it usually shows characters. Thanks ahead of time for ur help
