No NPCs?

Hi everyone

Please excuse my newbishness, I just found out about the whole private server world this afternoon, so I'm still trying to figure this stuff out.

After following a guide, which I had to tweak and fiddle with anyways, I managed after a while to get a 1.12.1 server up and running, I can log in and create a char, runa round and all that fun stuff, but tehre are NO NPCs anywhere, no mobs, no questgivers, notta.

I'm running Mangos, and my first thought was that the SDB I had loaded (050) was bad, but I tried with 054 and it is still no go.

Any ideas?

Are you sure your scripts are in your SQL server?

As far as I know, they are.

I imported the SDB file into the mangos db, but that's it.

going to retry, clean DB, newest release of everything.

I suppose you are using Navicat for your SQL GUI.

Open the MaNGOS database, right click on the "mangos" DB, click "Execute Batch File", and in your MaNGOS directory, go into the folder labeled "SQL", and import the "mangos.sql" file, wait for it to finish executing, right click on "realmd" db, and do the same, but this time execute the SQL labeled "realmd.sql".

Cleaned out the DB, and all the files, re downloaded all the newest versions of everything, went through set up again and now everything's shiny!
