What you will need

* MySQL
* Antrix
* Navicat (Alternatively you could use HeidiSQL which is free)
* A Database
* WinRAR

Step 1

When you have downloaded all those files you will need to follow this video tutorial whic shows us how to setup MySQL, how to import a database, and how to configure Antrix

Step 2

In this step we will extract the DBC files and the Map files needed to run an Antrix server. Both the programs used are in the Antrix compile you downloaded earlier.

First extract the DBCExtractor and the MapExtractor from your Antrix folder.

(*NOTE* If you live in europe you will need the enGB map extractor which can be found here)

When you have done that go to your World of Warcraft folder and put Ad.exe and the maps folder in the root of WoW folder. (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft or whatever your directory is) Then run Ad.exe , when it is done, the maps folder will be full of maps. Put the maps folder into your antrix folder.

Now for the DBCs. Open your DBCExtractor folder, and copy SFmpq.dll and MPQE.exe along with your area batch file to World of Warcraft\Data\enUS (The last directory will obviously change for differant areas). Now run the batch file, it will produce a folder called MPQOUT. Open that folder and you will see another folder (DBFilesclient) Rename DBFilesclient to DBC. Now copy the DBC folder to your antrix folder.

Step 3

In this stage we will create a gm account for you to play on. First Open up navicat. Then go into your antrix database, and open the accounts table.
Now fill it in like this:

Account Username Password GM Flags

1 Admin Admin 3 8

(The rest of the columns can be left blank)


Step 4

Now if you havn't already done this, you need to go into your World of Warcraft folder, find the realmlist and open it in notepad. Change it so it look like this - set realmlist 127.0.0.1

Now to start the server go into your antrix folder and start logonserver.exe, then start antrix.exe. Then open up WoW and play!

Extra

Getting the "Unable to validate game version error?" If so, launch up WoW and look in the bottem left corner. It will tell you the version you are using. Remember the last four digits of your WoW version (for example for me it would be 6692). Now go into your Antrix folder and open \Antrix\logonserver.conf with notepad. Scroll down to the bottem and you will see this:

MinClientBuild = 6692
MaxClientBuild = 6692

If your version is higher than this, change the MaxClientBuild to the number you checked when you opened up WoW.
If your version is lower, do the same apart from change MinClientBuild instead.

teir 6 needs to be in the database i know mine has teir 6 and is updated vary frequently i have a repack just not posted on ragezone sorry you have to find it on your own

does this realease, antrix, suport tbc chars? cause ive installed it correctly and cant use blood elfs or dranei, dnt know if the DB is the right one, been away from wow and server for some time, just trying to catch up.

I've been testing Karnage's files and blood elves can't learn by quest "tame beast". (the quests are buggy).

yes it does support tbc you just have to put your account flags as 8

What is your GM flag in the database set as? It should be 'az' (without the quotes) to be able to use all commands.

i've tried to let them connect to my ip adres but it won't work and how can I get a free account creation page?:construct :scratch:

no it should be set to 3 like it says in the guide

Good evening everybody.

Since a couple of days, I started to use Antrix and I did not find the command to summon a mob (who say Illidan ?). I know how to retrieve the creature ID but not the command to them appear in game. Can someone help me please ?

I keep getting this error.. when I put everything to localhost in realmlist, of course it works. I have opened all my ports on my router page, I have no firewall installed, but I just cant get this to work! Please any suggestions?

hey i followed the install and i got into wow i connected but them i get to character select and it just heeps the connected message on the screen, when i go to close it i end up on the server list, i can see my server there but everytime i try to connect to it it stays on the connected message, what can i do??

Anyone got same problem as me? I cant buy anything from vendors and i cant train skills :/ It says: No sell template found for (blabla)

Ok, loginserver works but when i try to start antrix it says connection ok then shows a key then shows result failure. after a few seconds it says realm id 1 connection was dropped unexpectedly ping timeout. I checked the loginserver window and apparently it wont authenticate the key, any suggestions?
