if your using kobold to gice gold 2 char use

.mod gold 1000 - that gives 1 gold

or if your using mangos

use

.money 1000 - that gives 1 gold

the correct command is .modify money 1000 for 1 gold
if you have a website than look there for the commands.the complete list is displayed.

look at the changelogs sometime, they do add in alias's from time to time.

I had the same problem on my mangos srv and i fixed it by replacing the dbc files with the 1.12.2 ones. U can download them from here.

ok im using mangos revision 2800 and i tried to apply these dbc files and the mount trainers still dont work, their conversation doesnt start for any thing even to tell you you cant use em yet.

ok i've narrowed the problem down to the dialogue option when you click on the npc riding trainer the dialogue itself wont fire, i tested this out by adding a normal merchant to the same npc and by also adding a mount trainer to a normal vendor npc in both cases the vendor dialogue popped up or it just opened the store but the riding training dialogue did not show up , so any clues how to fix this?

try deleting the WDB folder in WoW and then try again

ok 3 things maybe 4, one deleting that folder doesnt work, updating dbc's doesnt work as far as finding and downloading a newer version, and as for making my own would the person that mentioned the program to do this, kindly post a link to it so i can try this route.

Also, is there a way to make an item that just teaches you this skill and put it on a vendor? because ive tried making a new item myself and patterning it after the first aid skill book for expert and just changing the spell it teaches and this doesnt work the item wont let you use it to learn the skill.

or perhaps there is a way to make items that increase movement speed by the same amount mounts do and then more with the trinket/spurs speed included as well and make them combat canceled and unlimited uses like a haste potion or some such.

While the riding trainer is bugged I'll also add another problem:
The hearth stone is sometimes bugged and when you try to use it, it says the spell is already in use or something. I'd have to reboot the server after I destroy the hearth stone.
Any fix to that?

if y use mangos server then y can easy target your char and type .learn 33392 . it must work its the Journeyman Riding skill (150 riding ). for gold is .modify gold number

It doesn't remove the fact that some mounts require riding though and that means I would need riding.
