people cannot connect

Hello, i have a server running on my pc.
its a ArcEmuC309 R2294 + WhyDB_R269
I opend all the 9 ports in my router.
I modified the config files.
The firewall is down and my ip isnt changing.
I self can enter the server with no problem. (put my ip in realmlist, not local ip)
I searched the web for an answer.. but it isnt helping me.

What can it be ?

yesterday someone tried to log in..
i made a account for him
He could see my servername but he couldnt log in..
I could see his ip in navicat account table.
When i tried to log on that account.. it was no problem..
i tried everyrhing.. turn firewall off etc.
But no effect.

First thing I always try is setting the computer into DMZ for a short duration...just to make sure it is not a port blocking issue.

If your config's are set correctly....and even in DMZ noone can connect...

Your ISP might block the ports needed to run it correctly....they have been known to do that.

Hmm. Im having a similar problem with my friend. He's trying to host wotlk server for 3.0.9 using fanatix server files for mangos. Except when I try connect, I dont get any connection at all! My ip doesn't even show up in the db.

And when he tries to connect, he gets the error "your account is authorized for Wrath of the lich king expansion, but your client does not seem to be."

But as Monolith said, might be your isp blocking those ports.

Although make sure in the db called Realmd or login. Look for the realmlist and make sure the ip is set to your ip. Not 127.0.0.1/localhost. But your ip that your friend is using to connect!
