    [Personal] Mangos MYSQL problem

    Ive searched the forums / tried other guides / googled

    But still after all of that im still getting this problem

    2007-04-24 19:12:09 ERROR:Could not connect to MySQL database at 127.0.0.1: Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061)

    2007-04-24 19:12:09 ERROR:Cannot connect to database


    Please help me :(

    YOu have an firewall on, or doe you even have MySQL installed?

    make sure you have configured realmd.conf and mangosd.conf properly

    Right, first things first; make sure you are actually running MySQL before you try to run MaNGOS (I know, you'd be an idiot to not run it first, but it sometimes happens...). Then, make sure that the MySQL user and pass specified in realmd.conf and mangosd.conf is correct, and also the database names. If so, make sure that your firewall is not blocking port 3306 (usually doesn't). If it still does not work, then, well, your'e fucked.
