How to run server :

First ting you need to do is make the maps and vmaps . Tools to do this are suplied in the
Tools directory read the readme files for both . when done copy the vmaps and map directory
in the /server/data/ dir . when thats done make shure that skype and any other sqlserver or webserver is
shuted down in the progres tab of task manager . When convidence those are not running
follow the next few steps to get your server up and running for use on same machine as
your client .

1 Extract maps with ad.exe ( Copie ad.exe in your main wow dir usualy c:/worldofwarcraft/ then double click it . )Then copie the map dir to /server/data/
2 Extract vmaps ( in the tools/vmap_extract/ is an readme file just folow that to do so )Then copie the vmap dir to /server/data/
3 Start WOWSRVR.bat
4 Your webbrouwser will pop up with an page wait 10-20 sec then refresh the page when
page stays the same then confirm that webserver initialize well with y .
5 When the above steps went ok the servers will start automaticly and you can start playing
when mangosd.exe is fully loaded .

How to make server public without an router :

Follow the above guild till step 2 BUT DONT CONFIRM YET .
Instead go to phpmyadmin and slect the realmd databace from the dropdown then look for
the realmlist table and klick the edit icon . change the server ip thats in there to your
own server ip or no-ip add . After that then confirm the webserver initilized well with Y .
Let users connect to the ip/no-ip adres you yust filled out in the db .

How to make server public with an router :

Make shure you forwarded ports on your router :

80
Then follow the steps above for setup without an router .

Becose of the large data dir i get now with maps and vmaps i wont upload full packs anymore . Extractors for both are included in the pack now .

So no more repacks from me this is final release .

Ascent ( Antrix ) is not supirior on Mangos they both on the same length mangos is db whise mutch bether and Ascent is more stable . However the makers of antrix dont want repacks and i respect that so there wont be an repack for it at least not from my hands . And no i din't quit till NOW that is ;)

Any chance I could get a fix for the 'german' bug? All my world channels are in german, and it isn't very fun trying to guess which one is which.

Look in mangosd.conf find the lines for dbc and then instead of auto detect set it to langeus of your choise .

I did just that and it still shows up as german. It's on 0 right now, english.

I have a problem when entering the Bloodelf city somewhere near the sunsomething it destroys my character i try to relog and the character just crashes the game.

same here, i think it has something to do with the map extractor, because i'm using a clean english DBC database... That or a bad NPC. My friend/moderator says its probably the friggin fountain.

hi, i got an error about a missing vmap. is said it cant find the file ./data/vmaps/530_12_43.vmdir. can anyone send me just that one? or is there something wrong?

Wondering if anyone is having troubles adjusting mob health? After adjusting it in Mangosd, and I start the server, the mobs are at their original health levels. When I kill them and then respawn them, then their health levels reflect what I set them at. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Edit: I am doing the same thing I used to do, and didn't have any problems before. This really puts a damper on soloing content. And I have always loved your re-packs, very easy to use. I will miss your work.
