Problem connecting to RealM (Mangos newest version)

Hello,

I've been setting up a MaNGOS server lately updated it with the newest software that was posted few days ago (http://forum.ragezone.com/world-warc...e-210399.html)...
Now my friends try to connect to the server throug a lan cable but they can't join into a realm.. they CAN login with there accounts created throug the website but when we try to go into a realm so we can create a character it halts.. it Does finds the standard MaNGOS Realm in the list just while we double click it the choose realm window pops up again..
hope you guys get what i meann...
We also tried programs such as Hamachia (Which is a VPN Program) but that didn't work neither,, the problem can't be the schoolnetwork since we had our computers connected with a lan cable (no router), firewalls where off etc..
hope i gave u guys enough info bout this little problem which is getting very annoying :p..

CORRECT your IP in realmd database (realmlist table). !IT MUST BE THE SAME! as in the realmlist.wtf!

sooo i should change 127.0.0.1 to the pc ip?

yes or no-ip dns


and dont forget to do this an all the lan-pc

Next, on the server (and all other LAN clients you plan to play with) you open the file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS with notepad and add this line to it:
let say that you have a router whit ip 10.0.0.10 then do this


10.0.0.10 SPACE my.provider.ip
