[Problem] Help Ascent Keeps Crashing On Startup!

Doesn't Help...still crashes on startup. What could the illegal instruction be linked to?

run the logonserver.exe before, and them run ascent.exe

i did. I still have the problem. The server ran fine before even without the sql updates and the latest NCDB (701). I think its just windows server 2003 but idk what the problem is.

you can create a new character db for test, make character2 with sqlyog and run the character 2.3.0 full, you need modify the ascent.conf and logonserver.conf.

still no effect. I downloaded a new character database (2.3.0) and ascent still crashes on startup. Could it be that my system doesn't meet the requiremtnts for it or maybe windows server 2003 is being weird?

ok never mind about the question, i just give up. I'll just move it back to the one computer I had it on.

u have to have the revision cofg files ascent logon and realm make sure they are configed right and install the latest database for ur server if that dont help ur doing something wrong

I have 2 different computers
There setup exactly the same (XAMPP, Windows Server, etc)
I tried running the SAME exact ascent configuration on both of them
It worked on the one computer but it didn't work on the other one.

...also maybe background program causing problem. What processors? Maybe one of them is core 2 duo or HT and causing issues(off chance but possible)

Its a old pc

RAM: 386MB RAM
Processor: 333MHz Intel Celeron

I'll try checking out some processes that are open. My guess is that it's the processor but idk.
