Problem in updating DB

I previously using Mangos platinum, and now i wan to setup a complete server and i now having a fresh server without DB because i don't know how to setup properly

i run the batch from SDB-0.5.1 or SDB-0.5.2rev292 ???

Now i am using Mangos rev 2616
after i run the batch from SDB
i need to update the DB from the sql file provide from rev 2616 or not ?
and when to update those from the update folder ?

Is this only the step for the DB ??

If your having login problems and your character cannot be found you need to update your DB as follows.

Get SDB 0.5.2rev272:
SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service

In the newest mangos rev go in the sql folder, then updates. Execute all sql files after 2578 on the mangos database, except the 2606_realmd_account.sql which you execute on the realmd database.

This will update your SDB to the latest version that is required for the latest mangos (currently 2618).

I've verified myself that this fixes any "character not found" errors due to fields not being there or problems with character creation/spells.

What do you do with "SDB 0.5.2rev272" once you have downloaded it? Simply overwrite the old mangos.sql file? Or is there more to it than that?
