    Problem with newest Mangos...

    I had gotten my server up and running with an older version of mangos, and figured it was about time to update. Im running into an issue now where whenever I run the mangosd server, it quits (or continually restarts in my case w/ MDH). Am I doing something wrong when I install the new version? I was using mangoscript, and wanted to switch over to scriptdev but I cant seem to pinpoint the problem... Does it have anything to do with the fact that Im running mangos from a separate drive? (D:\mangos not C:\mangos)
    Im stumped, please advise, and thanks in advance!

    Well first off, open up server log in the servers root dir, and tell us what the error was.

    Thats nice and easy.
    In mangosd.conf edit to have this instead:
    DataDir = ""

    That way it will tell everything to located the server files where the mangosd.conf is:P

    The problem is it can't find ur maps and other files as you have the mangosd.conf pointing elswhere.

    I tried that once already, it just keeps crashing and looping b/c of the MDH restarter. If it makes any difference im trying to use

    Mangos 3040+ScriptDev2 Rev 16 By Haken
    and the SDB
    mangos_sdb69_sd15

    my *.conf files are all straight out of the RAR except for the user/pass and data dir edits (which i never had a problem with in the past release i was using)
