You have bought the game?
Because I think you've to install it from CD.
Because that has the oldest files to wow, and that makes so you can download the other patches etc.
Signed.
Try this:
Start>Run>Regedit
Search in the registry for Blizzard. There should be an entry under Blizzard Entertainment for World of Warcraft, that has the following values:
(Default)
GamePath
InstallPath
UninstallPath
If you do not have a registry entry for one. Copy and paste this into a text file, and change the extension to ".reg", and enter it. Then go to in in the registry and change the values to the proper paths.
That should allow the patch to correctly locate your installation of WoW.Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft]
"UninstallPath"="C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Blizzard Entertainment\\World of Warcraft\\Uninstall.exe"
"InstallPath"="C:\\Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\"
"GamePath"="C:\\Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\WoW.exe"
tnx i propose i should change only the install path and game path
as far as i understand i must have the orginal game to update with bl patches???
>sorry but yours idea don`t work :( i tried the reg file but nothing happens btw the patch is from 2 mpq files and one istall.app file and isnstall.exe
