Project Expansion!

I had this idea. I dont know if it will be a realistic or even do-able idea, but here goes:

(Really i know its do-able, its just finding the time and people to work on it)

As we all know The Burning Crusade was the first expansion for WoW, and we all loved playing it and running it on our servers. And as some of you may know, the second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, isnt due for release until late 2008 - early 2009.

I had an idea to create a world of warcraft expansion pack, made exclusivly for private servers, made by the people who run private servers.

I understand it will be a HUGE job, and will need many people to help me with it.

If possible could this get a sticky...?

It takes a full team of Blizzard employees about a year.. if not longer to build a complete expansion for World of Warcraft. They get paid WELL.. very well i'm sure to work on projects like this.. It would be nice to see the free community build a full expansion for private servers but we're not even finished getting the old-world content accurate/complete.. Private WoW servers are still very buggy and missing a multitude of things to this date.. Wait for WoW server emulation to mature a lot more before you go thinking people are ready to add brand new content.

Yea Diversion i agree, but it wouldnt be as big as TBC.

It would be a small expansion with maybe one new map and level 80 cap
