[Question][Ascent] Regarding Database editing (Mount Speed)

    Hi,
i just edited the mount "Spotted Nightsaber" (spell ID: 10792) so it runs with 25% speed
therefore i edited line 81 in the spell.dbc and changed the value from 59 to 24
When i go ingame now and use the Spotted Nightsaber it increases movespeed by 25% (i compared it with a 60% mount!)
The only problem is now, that in the tooltip of the mount buff says "increases speed by 60%" (what is obviously wrong) but i want that it says "increase speed by 25%" how can i change this ?

if not, you'll be needing to modify the client... unless you want to the turtle mount

well i still dont get it because the tooltip of the mount spell is "increases speed by 2s%"
since i changed 2s (in the spell.dbc) to another value why the heck isn't it updating the tooltip aswell ??
So you say the tooltip is clientside ?
    im confused

Sorry i am not on forums like every 10 min so, i missed your question, sorry

Here is what you have to do:

Open your database in your SQL editor and go to a Table called Spells112

in find section , type 10792,

it will brring you to only one spell.

    roll over to BuffDescription :)

And go ahead and edit that :)

    Good luck

Re: [Question][Ascent] Regarding Database editing (Mount Speed)

i allready tried that... still doesnt work even when i delete the cache and everything seems like the spell112 doesnt affect anything at all (like when i tried to change my mount speed in spell112 it didnt work but when i changed it in spell.dbc it worked )
maybe i can add u on MSN ?

btw i got 2 more questions:
    1. How can i make my spawned custom NPC's to stay in the server even after server restart? they allways disappear. Same goes with some spawned objects (.go spawn x) some stay in the game after being spawned some disappeared.
    2. When i create a new character (horde / alliance) they allways have all languages orcish common etc. on 300 so if you start a horde u can allways understand alliance and the other way round how can i change that they dont know all languages and only understand their fraction

I'm not sure about the npcs, as I've never had that problem (mine always save), but for gameobjects, type a 1 after the entry ID when you spawn it (e.g. .go spawn 34899 1). That should save it.
