Raidens Repack V6 fixes and support

Hi all

this thread is for raidens repack v6 only...preferably.

i hope you have read the forum rules, this is already infringing on agreements. but i think it can be tolerated in countries like mine where dialup is the only affordable option. (maybe if blizzard made an african server we would have a chance) and is for private use only.

no seriously: you gain xp now, can interact, activate quests.

plz lets keep this clean,search first before posting for help, no flaming obviously. if you are not getting help on a particular topic PM me and we make a plan,then nobody needs to double post.

i an not a coder, i am a IT specialist, i know roughly how code works and fully understand application and processes running in an environment with functions and calls,i just cant code.

so it would also be helpful if somebody in the community looked over the program briefly to see if any work can be done on it. (e.g. a patch or fix)

if anybody has info or fixes relating to this app please spit it out.

what rev ascent this can use ? if is 2303 i use :D

i have only just started using this emu software, could you plz define to me what ascent is. i am using raidens repack v6. there is another thread where they attempted to discuss various other servers but it did not seem helpful. i have noticed another emu that runs on sql but it seems difficult to edit and maintain. i am hoping for this to become a sticky and a full blown topic.

you seem to know what is going on if you know the version of your app, or is a plugin?

something i realized last night, in your maps folder:
(drive)\(raiden folder)\maps\
there is a map generator, NOT THE BAT FILE, when you run it has instructions on what to do.
basically it will extract your maps and create ref files to the maps, unlike the bat file that actually extracts your maps and consumes a large amount of space.
after running the map app, it will fix your map in the game, allowing you to gain xp for unknown markers and show the actual map.
