Really need help!

Hello all..

I have tried to make my own tbc server. So im using Navicat, but when im supposed to make a connection it comes error " 2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on "local host" ( 10061 ) " . Well i tried to use my own local area IP adress, my hamachi ip adress, my Local Area 10.0.0.3 Ip adress...hmm? plz help :( also tried SQLyog, same problem there... ???

have you set up a mysql password and username? Are you connecting with that info?

well im connecting with Connection Name: Localhost
Host Name/IP adress: localhost
Port: 3306
User Name: Aleksander911
Password: *********
and save password


i may not be so good at this :) but im trying :)

so did you edit mysql for username: Aleksander911 and password ******?

By default mysql is setup as username: root and no password.

Hmm...still get the same problem :( Could you use LogMeIn to help me plz? ive tried for like hours now :( I would be in deed for you if you helped me... :) I used default

Well i fixed the server prettey much :) My SQL problem is over :) But another problem came ofcourse, look at this error : " Error! Log file could not be found! " in the error it stands: " Error! Please check the name of MaNGOS log file as defined in restart.conf. If this is correct please ensure that the MaNGOS root directory is set correctly. " , it comes when i use the MaNGOS restarter :S Anyone can help?
