Realm Connection Problems

Although my first post, I assure you i try to know what im doing. Im using the bloodscavengers repack which is Mangos 2659 and have configured all parts of the mangos and realmd databases correctly. The realmd realmlist, edited within SQLyog, give my IP address (which is static).

My .conf files (both realmd and mangosd) have my local ip 127.0.0.1;3306...(the rest with my user,password, and database). My realmID has been set to 1 to match the Mangos server.

I go to a university, but the IP doesnt block WoW from getting any information, and i can connect with my local IP in SQLyog...but not with my own.

Any ideas as to why this would happen? Ive searched the forums here and seen a few reasons, but most of them seem to suggest the editing ive already done.
