[Recommendations] Private Server Systems

Hi, I have a server set-up on a AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4ghz CPU with 3gb ram, I was just woundering if this is a good system for a private server and if anyone has any idea of how much people it could hold, with out major lag spikes. If its not sufficient, what cpu you would recommend. Coz i am very into this and want to make a popular server and make some dollar

it is a good computer u could use it for wow server
But U Must Be good to do a POPULAR SERVER

Yeah, i know what im doing, ive had like 6months experience of creating servers and managing them ect..
