Btw, I've had 0 problems with the way I backup accounts, but when I use mdh I get issues when importing into new sdb's

Ok, let's try to explain how your method and my method works.
Your method copy over all the table including structures etcetera. This way if a MaNGOS Developer have changed for example the character table in the meantime you will get lots of problems at startup with mangos.
My method is of copying over ONLY the data into the new structures. For making MDH to work into importing and exporting you need to ensure that starting structure and ending structure collide. (must be identical)
You can do this by
1) Update your current DB via developer update to the latest revision
2) Export your chars
3) Import back into the new SDB.

Yes, I know what your program does, and I understand how it backs up the accounts files by not exporting any other tables, just accounts.
But like I said, anytime I use mdh to backup accounts, I get major issues "no items in inventorys/no clothing ect.."
The way I backup works 100%, and i've never had any errors or issues doing it this way.
I understand what your saying, but for me it just don't work, thats why I backup using sqlyog.

Problem:
MDH gives an error with .netframework "im running .net2" and says continue or quit.
What the problem is doing:
It's restarting the server while people are on it, and disconnecting people on the server.
What i've done:
I've ran just the emulator and the realm without mdh for 2 days, and no errors, server does not reboot, and people don't get disconnected.
I think for now i'll just run my server without mdh untill there is an update, or if you have any ideas, there are more than welcome.
If you require a log output for this error, let me know.

sorry for the waiting but i got really low time in these days.
If you are using the server management functionality (the restarter), disable it from the config menu with Mangos closed. There is a known problem that makes the program crash if mangos is ALREADY opened when starting MDH with the server management opened.
If you want to use the restarter, START MANGOS FROM INSIDE MDH for now.

I've just been using the emu without mdh while I waited for an update.

If anyone is getting problems starting MDH please contact me at my MSN address...
To sort out problems please try to start MDH DIRECTLY from the exe inside the folder where you installed. This should fix your problem while i work on a solution.

I've updated to the latest revision... and thanks for all your work, this is a really slick little program. I have a question though. It may have more to do with my current MaNGOS revision than my databases, or your program though.
If I create a new item, I can't go back and edit it. Now I honestly can't say anything about current in game items because I didn't want to fool with them, but once my item was created, it stayed that way. I can change the database numbers all I want, but the item is forced in game to be the same as the first one I created.
Example: I went through the creation of the item but forgot to add a model number. therefore all I got was this lousy ? Should be simple enough to fix, but when I chose a model number for it, it never updated. To test this out further, I changed the items description, deleted the item from my character and then recreated it. still the same original item I created improperly. Then I created a second item, this time I plugged in all the same numbers but a different item number, and now added the proper model number. The item didn't work in game.
I have at least figured that I need to restart the server when I add new items. (I'm not sure if this needs to be done)
but my question is, can items be updated? Or once an item is loaded by the server, is its data is locked in? This by the way is the same problem I ran into with WoWemu. It seemed that it took data from your items and hard saved them to your World.save. I just assumed that since MaNGOS had the SQL database... items could be updated without removing them from the server.

This may be able to be fixed by clearing my cache... I havn't tried this yet but, here is a similar problem fixed by clearing the cache.
