[Request] Ascent for Linux

Does anyone have a new version of ascent (above 2.4) that works with linux?
i need one, or can someone kindly compile me one?

hmm...i hear its pretty simple to compile it for linux. I did it once and it was easy but I no longer have linux :) so I would just compile it.
