running 2 servers

Hey ragezoners

I need some help here i am running a Fun server bud i also wanna run a high rate server

bud it now when i do that it works bud it goos on the same login server and i dont wand people to run with funserver items on a high rate server any tips or guide that can help me run 2 servers

ive never actually tried this, but try changing ur ascent.conf so that it has 2 different logonservers... and then edit ur logonserver.conf so it has 2 databases in mysql... then edit ur realms.conf so that u have 2 realms...

i know the realms works cuz i have two running atm... one for LAN and one for NET... but they use the same logon database so i my chars on LAN can play with chars from the NET...

Im pretty sure there will be a way u can edit ur logonserver.conf and ur ascent.conf and ur mysql databases so that you are running multiple logon databases with one main database... im new at this stuff and have no prior programming knowledge.. but logic has proved immensely helpful so far :D

if any more experienced programmers want to help out here that would be great... ive been wanting to do this too....

PS: A way to DEFINITELY make this work is to download 2 versions of the same server and run them from separate folders with separate logon databases... this will DEFINITELY work. :D
