What seems to be the problem?
Whenever I try to login I am being disconnected (too fast)

Hey,
when i try to open wowemu.key it says "Cannot import C:\Games|World Of Warcraft\uwc1.3.0\wowemu.key: the specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the refistry editor" and will my mates b able to play tho the net? or is this lan only?

This is NOT a register file! DO NOT TRY TO IMPORT IT TO YOUR REGISTER! U have to use notepad or other text editor to open&edit it

dont worry about that iv fixed it but now every time i try to log into the server it just says disconnected from server please help and can my friends join ova the net??

I found the problem, lol, sorry for the stupid question.

When i start the EMU (i'm using mara's repack) the batch file loads all the stuff and I get either

"Protection Error 196"
or
"Protection Error 157"

then the batch closes and if i try it again gives the same error.

What do I do wrong?

Also the error dumplog gives this

i am using the maras repack and i changed it to an online server and people can connect and make accounts and everything but they are stuck at their spawns becuase there are no teleporters...... can somebody please tell me how to add teleporters into my server

This is a huge request but can anyone possibly send UWC Repack 1.3.0, Client Addon v1.1, and UWC Patch 1.3.4 Repack to me by e-mail. I'm deployed in Qatar and all the links are blocked by our proxy. I'm trying to set up a private server here since I can't play WoW for 4 months. My e-mail is chris.sikes@gmail.com If you can send it great and if not thanks anyway. Great private server guides by the way. You guys really put a lot of work into these things.

I did everything like the guide said . i got the server up , checked 2 accounts , i run the client , it takes me to my log ong screen , i type in GOD and my pass word ******** Authenticating.....Handshaking and it stops there , it gets passed Connected cus its on the same pc and i am always online , im using the UWC you have on your guide. If you can help please post something . If you didnt get my problem , its that i get stuck on Handshaking , not frozen , just stuck .

. I login and it just says "Disconnected". I look at the server and it says: CMD_AUTH_LOGON_CHALLENGE

Do i need to disable something?

ummm ya when i try to log in it says "connected" but it wont let me in and if i wait a lil bit it just disconnects me. whats did i do wrong.

Hi im using UMC v1.34, i got the LAN version running but im having problems with the internet version and people joining the server, users are able to access http://aussieswow.zapto.org:8080 which is the create account page, and they are able to create an account, the problem is when they try to join "unable to connect" and on the server i got WSARecv failed WSAENOTSOCK <10038>, to me this sounds like a Port problem, since im using ICS, i forwarded these following ports 8080,8085,3724. and i know i am forwarding ports correctly because, port 8080 wasn't working with the DNS, until i forwarded the port. Are there anymore ports i must forward to access the server? because i think people can't ping my server aussieswow.zapto.org, so i think there must be another port that must be forwarded.

how do i change the xp on the uwc repack... everyone says to look for set base xp and stuff but i cant find it i dont think its there guys. can some one tell me how to set the xp plz.

um i am having problems gettign the UWC patchers and net fram workign they keeps saing that it is crupt/wrong format

when i go to run WE_DK-core it says,

What seems to be the problem? For 1 it says "Unable to connect" and i checked realmlists and it still doesent connect before i found in the CMD that it couldnt find my accoutns so i fixed that now it gives me an error 14:48:37:E:WSARecv failed WSAECONNABORTED (10053)

i have the exact same problem as this i have everything set up done everything right but it wont go any further it has happened with both AFG and Amrican93's Repack V. 2.4 when i tried using MARAs REPACK nothing loaded at all. can someone plz tell me why this is happening ive looked everywhere and no answer

Online, however when WE_DK-Core.exe, I opted to block it with my firewall, don't know if that changes anything.

What seems to be the problem?
I get 'can't connect' when I try to get to the registration page via 'run' and of course I get 'unable to connect' in-game. I tried both with my own ip and the 127 one.

When the server load I get a few red messages, might be helpful:
acceptEx failed WSAEINVAL <10022>

However, it does finish with acceptors=6 workers=18

I am running a Mangos server and am having problems with mangosd.exe. This server is behind a firewall and is running a SQl database. When I click mangosd.exe i get this error....

If anyone is able to help me i would much appreciate it. I followed all guidlines to the "T" when i set this up. When i try and log into WOW it just keeps going back to the realm screen. I see my realm there and click it but it will not let me get to the character creation screen.
