Setting up a SP server: noobie-style (DISCUSSION THREAD)

Is the server and the game running on the same machine?

Does your realmlist located in WoW Directory say "set realmlist 127.0.0.1" ?

Does your wowemu.key located in your server folder have a line that says "ws-host=127.0.0.1" ?
yes

Are you online while trying to run the server, or are you offline? (This doesn't mean are you trying to host the server just simply were you online when you ran the wowemu server?)

What seems to be the problem?
I tried to type in the http://(my ip):8080 and it says this wepage can not be displayed. so i went and removed the http:// part and it came up to
The webpage cannot be displayed
