Setting up your own server

I've followed numerous tutorials found on the internet but they all turn out in "Page not found" or some other stupid error.

For example, the DJ_execute control panel wont work because when i click Apache & SQL it says the disk w is busy :S

Anyway, can someone help me set up a server that's reachable for everyone out there, and it doesn't matter which version, though the newer, the better!

ive spent days trying to get my server online but no such luck, and if you search for a all in one tutorial your will never find it were both the Client and Connection settings are up to date

but hey your never know, i shouldnt have been so negative.
