Some questions about WoW Servers
I have a few questions about WoW private servers...
Are any of the servers just like the pay to play game?
(ie: do they have the same quests and monster spawns?)
Do any of the servers have monsters that act just like they
do in the pay to play game?
(ie: how good is the ai?)
Do any of the servers have the all the class and race features implemented?
(ie: which one is closest to paid server gameplay?)
How stable are the servers?
How resource intensive are the different servers?
Thank you for your help,
Rzach

well.. sadly.. you get what you pay for...
but the mangos environment is 97% as close to the real thing...
and most have a regular update...
atm mangos is releasing on avg about 100 updates a fortnight..
and the database is pretty close to the real thing..
BC is a diffeerent story tho.. lol.. dont ask.. its buggy as hell..

Yeah, all the TBC servers are not worth the download currently. Extremely buggy and no spawns/quests.
If you want TBC, it's best to wait and hope MaNGOS Project starts developing TBC servers.

I actually do play on the Official servers.
I also like to play offline as well. The last time I played a emulated server though
the server was nothing like the real servers. The ai was buggy, skills didn't work, and warlocks could permanently lose their pets.
I am interested in playing offline again and was curious to the status of the servers. I don't need a perfect server, but I would want a server that at least has skills working and hopefully has functioning warlock pets.
Any detailed information would be helpful.
