Soz about this more help needed.

I have set up [MaNGOS] Latest compiles by TraSHmaN (last update 14/02/2008) and have changed the ip in phpMyadmin page to my pc's ip and also changed the port, i have done this in 2 places there one is the"databases\realmlist" then clicked at the top Browse (i changed ip here and port). Also click at the top were structure is says "address and port" i have changed ip and port here.

i have given my freind a modded realmlist (open'd in notepad) with my ip in, he can see the server , the name of the server what type it is (ie pvp , pve) and population but he can not connect to it. something is going ok as he can see it but alas he cant connect.
Please please help the wall and my head dont work well together.I have also tryed a dns hoster (ie ihave a dns address and my ip is allocated to that)

anyway some real help would be appreciated. Cheers guys hope u can help.

the only thing i can think of is if he has a firewall get him to turn it off or add your ip to the trusted zones
