strange problem
Running Mangos 1.12.1...I have a static IP and connect thru the lan just fine. I came into work and installed 1.12.1 and I connect, create chars, etc... but after just a few minutes of running around, I get booted to login screen with 'server disconected' msg.
All ports are forwarded on both systems, I have tried to set a hosts file up on the client pc to no avail, and all the server files...mangosd.conf, realmd.conf are set to 127.0.0.1...I did change the port to 8086 to no avail as well. Has anyone seen anything like this? Doesn't seem to be a port issue as I am able to connect. The client PC is on a dynamic IP.

Re: strange problem
yea, mangos crashes alot. Use a restarter. It could also have something to do with the way your work network is configured. They may limit the send/receive time ratio

Re: strange problem
Thanks for the fast reply...the server at home has never crashed...(knock on wood) and my work network is actually a dedicated DSL line that we setup to play wow :) not sure about send/recieve time ratio in the modem but I'll check it out! Thanks

Re: strange problem
How would I check the send/receive time ratio anyways?

Re: strange problem
Only thing I could find in the modem setup that seemed to do with speed is the MTU, which was already set to 1500....I went into the registry on this box and added DefaultTTL "128" to HKLM/system/ccs/services/tcp/parameters...see if this makes a diff
Edit: did not seem to make a difference, but what I did was delete the WTF folder and it seems to be working fine now!! Great project gang!!
