Alright, I'm not a noob to this stuff to get that out of the way, had my own mangos for awhile. I followed the guide PERFECTLY...did EVERYTHING it said, step by step. And, the image below shows you my problem, I try to log in and it stays and connected. Yes I have my ports open.

Ok, I got to the account part and not sure what to put in some of the spots, want to make a quick sample screenshot quick for me please? As if it were the first account added to the database. This is what I'm at, just a filled in screenshot would work. Thanks very much.
OK here is a screenshot of what a sample account would look like when adding an account. This is adding a gm account to the server:
Accounts: the account number of the person being added (cannot be 0)
Login: the name used to login to the game
Password: the password used with the login to login to the game
GM: 0=no gm access, az=gm access with all commands (search for a complete gm command list here on ragezone)
Banned: 0=not banned, 1=banned
E-mail: the email address of the user (can be left blank)
Flags: 0=normal WoW, 8=TBC (The Burning Crusade expansion)

Man, thanks for the help, I really do appreciate your time...but just nothing seems to be working. I am out of ideas now..
I had this problem too, and I went through all sorts of obscure steps to resolve it. I used the antrix release stickied from above.. which seems to require the 6739 revision of the 2.10 client.. chances are you don;t have it ( as I did not) so just log onto blizzard a few times with garbage info until it downloads the client updates and you ought to be fine.. hope that helps and enjoy.

Same with me.. from what i seen.. this problem is only for those who host the server ..if i mess with my antivirus and after few retrays to login i manage to enter the game..soo be patience ;) ..my ports are opened too.
What do you have in the realmlist.wtf? your outside ip? I suggest trying to use set realmlist 127.0.0.1
Yes my realmlist is set to 127.0.0.1 but still no change. From what i seen when i try to connect to the server my client tries different ports wich, for i do not know what reason, are closed even if my windows firewall is turned off and my Kaspersky Antihaker is seted to "Allow all" ...soo comes the question: wtf is going on ??? ..Oh and something strange ..the windows firewall it looks like it is turned on all thow is turned off.. Crazy windows..If i use the other server ...:winky: ... mangos based it works without any trouble.
PS: I do not use any router or any stuff like that. Direct connection.
like i have similar problem but lil stuct not on conected but on disconected from server... like i can use ewery what i can think of in login or pass but aal time its disconected from server

Man, when that happened to me it was because of my database, after i login and at the moment where my characters should appear it sayed disconected and my server crased...The problem was some kind of data coruption in my database ..after i restored my database it worked again. Try that and see if it helps ;)
To be sure that that is the real cause give your pass and user to someone else to see if they manage to enter the game..if it works ..then ..sorry have no other ideea ..yet :P
i had the exact problem you had maivel and i new i had it setup right
so after alot of screwing around i installed the server on another pc in my house
and it connected first time
it seems to be a bug with the client and server being the one machine.
This is how i get it to work.
In Antrix.conf - If you are running the server on 127.0.0.1 and playing on it with the same computer make sure it looks like this:
# Host Directive
#
# This is the address that the server will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
#
Host = 0.0.0.0
------------------------------------------------------------
The same thing with logon.conf
Make sure it looks like this:

# This is the address that the realmlist will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
#
# Note: ISHost is the interserver communication listener.
#
Host = 0.0.0.0
ISHost = 127.0.0.1
Also, if you are still having trouble, turn anti-virus off.
I did what you said and im still getting the same problem. Damn its driving me mad lol. There has to be something that is causing the problem.
1) Forward all ports, 3724, and 8129 on router and firewall.
2) Leave all Host = 0.0.0.0 and ISHost = 0.0.0.0, dont change them.
3) Set realm 1 as this:
Realm1.Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
4) Set logon server as this:
LogonServer1.Address = "127.0.0.1"
5) Edit your realmlist.wtf and change the realmlist line to this if your server is on the same computer as your client:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
Otherwise if you're connecting over the internet or lan, set it as the outside IP or LAN ip.
Then try again, if it still doesnt work, post your confs here.

Yap. It will go though most of the time but sometimes it takes forever too connect to the server.
