Hi, First I would like to say that everything you guys have posted has helped a bunch...
Ok I can get the WoWEmu app to start and it goes all through its set up and comes too..
IO completion port initialized
and then it stops and does nothing else so I hope thats right...
But, when I try and log in it says Connecting.. for like 30seconds and then says "unable to connect"...
ALL advice would be much apreciated..
My comp spec is....
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
512mb ram
WinXP SP2
...If theres any other specs u guys need just let me know..

Emu and Client on the same PC? (A Friend of me have this problem if Emu and Client are running on the same PC... Now he have the Emu on another PC and it works)
Maybe you need to reconfigure your firewall to let them communicate...

and noone can connect to the server
ive tried forwarding ports to see if that would help, it doesnt
so im not too sure what else to do right now

Easy Guide To A WoW Server.
Step 1: Enter your warcraft folder ( Example: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft )
Step 2: Find the icon called "WoW" and select it and copy, now go somewhere safe like "My Documents" and paste it somewhere safe.
Step 3: Run the repair tool, This is find that the wow.exe file is missing and will replace it automatically. This will cause your game client (version) to go down to 1.0.
Step 4: Find the 1.8 WoW patch and download it, Now once its finished patch wow. Now open your WoW folder if you have closed it and locate the following file and open via note pad.
realmlist.wtf
Change it to the following:
set realmlist "YourIPhere" -Dont add the " " marks to your IP :P
Default is setrealmlist us.logon.warcarft.com - or something :P
Step 5: Locate the following files and download them:
Blackstorm_1.8.x-Phase1.Final (This is the database, commands etc)
WoWemu.v0.4735.1.9.Patch.by.0SiRiS (This is the actual server/emu)
Step 6: Ok now on desktop create a folder called "BSserv" and another called "WoWemu"
Step 7: Put the Blackstorm file into the BSserv folder and the WoWemu file into the WoWemu folder. Go into each folder and unzip/ unrar them....
Step 8: Delete wowemu.exe.bak file in the "BSserv" Folder.
Step 9: Select the following items in your "WoWemu" Folder and copy/paste them into your "BSserv" folder.
WoWemu.v0.4735.1.9.Patch.by.0SiRiS
WoWemu
Step 10: Open your "BSserv" Folder and look for wowemu.key, it should be a Registry icon. Now open this using Notepad.
You will find a small ammount of test but only worry about the following:
server_name=Type Your Server Name Here
ws_host=Type Server IP or Lan Ip here. http://www.whatismyip.com/ incase your not sure.
Example:
server_name=WoW Lvl 60 Fun Server
ws_host=276.47.887.12
Step 11: Now open the "BSserv" folder and run "DButil" then click on edit accounts
Left Top Box: Username goes here
Password: the account password
plevel: 0 = default player 6= GM so 1-5 have certain commands... go 3 or 6...
Then click on the add/replace button, dont worry about the other boxes
NOTE: When you run the server a box will appear, it will say locked by locked, just click ok and continue loading it, sometimes the console will just dissapear, just rerun it again and if it keeps closing then seek additional help, but if you followed my guide it should be working pretty good, minus afew key packs or somethings im still not sure about ?
Now you will be able to run wowemu.exe and play it, but we need to change the server details to have abit of fun and also find out where the items lists are etc.
From now on only the "BSserv" Folder is going to be used, but dont delete the other one.
Inside the "BSserv" there is another folder called "Scripts" this is where we change certain things within the game and also has all the "Item" lists and the "Creature" lists etc.
Heres some info on all:
gameobjects: This allows you to spawn objects wherever you are, aslong as they are on the list. Example: .addgo 33 will spawn a Locked Chest
Items: This is a list of all items, you can search it by pushing Ctrl+f and then typing the item name or part of it, take care to spell properly including all grammar ' , : etc
Spellcost: This has a list of all skills such as proffesions, mount riding skills, and spell types are. Your can use them like so: .learn 3983 This will teach you how to make light shot :P
There is more but at this point im not sure on the other files, im waiting for the updating guide to find out the basics.
Commands: First of all these are for GM accounts, so make sure your a GM or have a rank that allows you to use them.
Note: You must select the target you wish to do it to, if its yourself you need to click on your icon at the top left.
.setxp 0-9999999 - Set your XP ammount.
.setlevel 0-255 - Set your character level.
.setcp 0-9999999 - Set the ammount of talant points you wish to spend.
.setsize 0-999 - Set the size of the targer, be careful as 100 is huge!
.goname "playername" - Teleports you to that character.
.del - Deletes the target (Cannot use on another GM or Character)
.RESURRECT - When you die use this
NOTES & WARNINGS!!!
Becareful with some of the teleport areas, some will cause you to fall constantly and there is no way to stop it, you will have to delete the account and start over unless there is a way but im not sure!

I installed this all bymyself and configed it using the small ammount of info on this site, im still stuck with afew things so its a matter of finding it all out
PS if you want to know how to get you original online WoW back all you have to do is replace the realmlist.wtf in your wow folder with the default URL and swap the wow.exe with the one you copy/pasted with.

I tried evry Repack and blackstroms_ 1[2].8.x-Phase2.Beta1. But it Still crashs at "Loading World..." without an error, pls Help me :crash:
Alrighty, I got my server up and running and what not using the instructions on page 1. I had a couple friends connect yesterday just fine. When I went to make the server today, they can't connect. It lets them log in, but when they go to choose the realm it just pops the realm list back up. They click my realm, click ok, and then it just pops back up again.
EDIT: Nevermidn.. I'm stupid. The sserver ip in the .key or whatever got changed back to the loopback IP instead of my local IP.
ummm...registery key? (files w/e)
my win rar says, header is corrupt, and also shows NOTHING in the file....so i dont ahve anything....can you repack and upload it again...WITH registery file?
