Teleporting A Few Feet infront of You?

Hey guys. Ive had my server up and running for quite some time now. Thanks djravine for such a great setup. Yes its mangos. What im wondering is how would i teleport simply a few feet infront of my current location. I keep trying locations but i mess those up some how.

Heres what i want to do. Get into Stormwind prison. But I can use this commands for other things too.

What i would really like to do is completely rip of the gate from SW prison and populate it with mobs. But i dont know if there is a way to rip of the gate in a relatively simple manor.

Any tips or hints would be awesome guys. I tried searching. But I may have over looked something. Thanks for all the help.

But i still am wondering, is there a way to remove the gates on those doors so anyone can get in there? That would be ideally what i want to do...kinda want to open up all those secret areas that are still in the game and perhaps populate them with spawns and such. i can do the spawning part. Just trying to get rid of those gates is the question...hmmm.......

im not sure about removing the gate, but theres already a spell which teleports you a few ft forward.

Ya, there is Blink, the mage spell. But normally it doesnt port you through things, the area has to be uninterupted land. On top of that, every time ive tried to use blink, it hasnt worked (Mangos BC server 2.0.10 from djravine). Not sure if its a source issue or a database issue, i'll go through and watch the server logs when it happens to see if any information comes up. I never tried to see what the issue with it was, i just went "hmmmm...must not work". Actually most of the times i tried to use it, I had a client error and wow had a fatal error. The server never crashed (I have it on its own dedicated pc right now). But that could just be coincidence. More testing on that matter for me I suppose.


If anyone knows about how to remove that gate, or set up an easy portal even, right in front of the gate, that ports you right to the other side. I can get the coordinates of both (and physically reach both at this point). Just havent tinkered around with portals yet. Time for some searching.

But I would still like to know how to completely remove teh gate if it is possible.

On top of that, any one know any other instances or areas that are physically there in the game, but blizz never released in live. I would really like to add them to my server. Thanks very much.

Ok, with some searching i found how to make my portals in and out of Stormwind Vault (or prisons as called otherwise). So I am happy. Now my goal is to go find other places your not supposed to get to and open those up and populate them. Got SW vault open now i have to find some hideous creatures and populate it hehehehe.
