I'm fully aware of your credits of the M4F in your initial releases, it is your denial there after that displeases me. Espire doesn't care that you credited, he simply found it offensive that you released TNR1, as basically a rip off of M4F, not much was done in R1, and it seemed to others that you were taking credit for such things, that you did not develop yourself.
I banned you from AP simply for attitude, the rest was just piled onto that.
The first time you cussed out the community and left, I didn't ban you, you kept making blatant notices that you thought you were above the rules of everyone else because you owned "The Best DB" to which at the time perhaps was true, but I hardly see the point valid anymore (though you will argue the fact) but contrary to actual reasoning, you bash everyone and everything that even vagly attempts to call itself a Database, for this reason you've been outcast from most places that call themselves an antrix community.
And for the stealing, I'm more going for a topic that was posted that you took a fix from which specifically told people not to use in their db, to which you responded `I don't care`
Something like this:
I still think you should openly credit M4F, because honestly, I doubt you went in and replace every little bit of code they ever put into the DB, maybe corrected a ton of things, but I'll bet theres at leased 1 string of their code in there.Quote:

Looks to me like a simple case of ego, your DB got to popular to fast, it all went to your head, you then developed the same `im a god` attitude that you claimed espire had, you know the one where he says everyone elses work is crap compared to his? You have done exactly that with everything I've ever seen you post on ;)
Hell, you ever went against Resinate who provided fixes for you, when he decided to release his own full DB, which was entirely sad.
Especially after I remember you saying "I don't care if people use my work for their db and rename it, all that matters is they use it"
Had no problems with you until you thought you were god of db's and before you accuse me of banning you because you said APDB sucked, I disliked you before we even released that database. Things are going to change and I hope you're ready for it, if not stay away from the ledges, and slitting wrists is not considered a safe hobby ;).

I think the reason why espire hates this DB team is because this DB is too good^^
At first the just wanted to release the core and not the DB... but the reason why they released their DB too is because it was leached.. I know this because i was one of them xD ... but keep your mouth shut^^
Espire and M4F want their server to be the best .. so with no good DB Antrix and all other Emus are = shit^^
but with terranet DB and in future other DBs maybe too they wont be the best anymore.. but I think they cant stop it now...
I am glad we decided to solve this thing, this way.
So I will start my arguments now.I dont see any logic in crediting M4F in my every release. Its stupid. Here is an example.Project Silvermoon used SDB changeset and developed a DB for TBC, so by what you are saying we should put credits into every release for SDB, no we should not, they were credited once and mentioned as a starting point of new DB development.
As for sacmorelven at the time I used around 15 of his new made items, we were working for the same team - Emulates Project, and I thought that teams supposed to share ideas, obviously I was wrong in that case.
After using his items I posted there and told him that I used them for my new release, tomorrow I was demoted, form the very man I though was with me all the time and his name is Tommy.
As for resinate, he provided 2 fixes for my DB.One was scale fixes and I really do not recall other on which was posted on the old PS forums, which were pruned.
After that he released a DB which was a complete copy of TNPS added a bunch of 50000+ entry items(custom items) and called it Kaotik(not sure)
Only credit I give him for the work on that DB are ai_agents.
as for my DB not being the best anymore, I say this.Bring it on.I have always wanted a good competition but never had one.Community will prosper if there are two strong DBs.If you can make one great, that we will have a quality war for the emulation market.
I am planing great projects in about 10 days, just to finish my exams and then we will see who can get the job done, leave the past behind and just give credits by quality.
P.S.: I`d say all of this at Emupedia too, but those people lack common sense and my post would be deleted in few minutes and I would be banned also, so whats the point in trying to solve thing with them when they are like BORG, one Espire`s mind and opinion in all of them.
Cheers,
Lemon
Nice!
i back lemon 100%, he's an outstanding member of our Project Silvermoon community, its never one person who creates all the work we do, it does take alot of very dedicated people for sure, their free time, hours upon hours of thankless days spent doing something, quite frankly, is alot of work.
PS isnt one person, we are a community, we dont take credit for creating the wheel, we've just improved upon it, there are a few in the emulation society who think its their sole claim too mysql, tables, spawns.
i dont see my name being flashed around, but thats fine, i spent an entire week back in August of 2006 off TBC beta working with nothing in the BE start area, and doing manual spawns for January's release, and i also have a vivd memory of fixing over 120 quests from that zone all the way too Ghostlands, i did this for everyone, just knowing, in the longrun, someone would appreciate it.
but as Lemon said, its not one person, i think part of it, there's alot of mis-communication with projects, but you learn from it, and move on.
Anyone know What's Wrong with.I use terranet DB rev 6 yesterday it was working fine But now it just stuck at Loading DB..2.1.2 client version. Check Topic about it.
Thanks, downloading atm, very slow!
