    im behind a router~

but i thought that if you put 127.0.0.1
then it'll be ok? no internet connection required?

dont tell me that you always have to be on the net to play the wow private server?

No, You do not have to be on the net to log in to your very own private server.
A few things that I might suggest you checking are as follows:
1)Please check in your database that the realm under the "realmd" database is set to 127.0.0.1
2)check and make sure in your World of Warcraft folder(located usually in your Local Disk C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft) that your realmlist.wtf is set to also 127.0.0.1 instead of us(or en).logon.worldofwarcraft.com

One more thing you could check out, is if you happen to have an internet connection, you could try setting all the above to your ip address. If you need help you can contact me on MSN Shozokuithedragonoftheheavens@hotmail.com and I can try to walk you through it.

You mentioned you were behind a router..
There are a few more steps that you could take to hopefully enable you to use this great gaming tool.

    1) If you are on a LAN connection with other computers, Your IP address can be put in instead of 127.0.0.1; what I mean is that, when you connect a router and you're connected with other computers on a LAN connection, it automatically give you LAN IP address, therefore setting your database and realmlist IP to your LAN IP would make it work also.

How do you find out what this is?
    It's easy

    1) First you open your control panel
2)(if in classic view) Go to Network Connections
3)Right click on your Local Area Connection
    4)Click on Status
5)Your current LAN IP address will be clearly labeled and you wil need to set your database and realmlist as dictated by that IP

    Didn't use one

I actually didn't use a guide. I just fumbled my way through it with a basic understanding of what MySQL is and how it's db is going to affect the co-op program.
