Unable to validate game version?

I got the latest server files, and databases from grandmst20's thread.
For 2.3.0. I update my realmslist file and I go to login wow but it says unable to validate game version.
BTW Ascent loginserver and ascent work fine. Its just WOW is not working fine
Suggestions?

I forgot to Update my WOW to 2.3.0 so that might be the problem lol.
Will let post here again If I still have problems.

I think usually that means your client version number isn't set right in your ascent.conf file... set the max to 9999 to not have to worry about it.

What text should I find I cant find anything that says build number in ascent config

It worked. But missing NPC characters in TBC T_T
Gonna try regular versions.
