Hi im currently making a 2.0.8 WoW Server and using this guide

I did all the correct steps but when i go into WoW i enter the name and pwrd is says updating...... and then it patches up(i press cancel because its a 2.0.8 server and its already at 2.0.8) i think its not connecting but idk why please help!

Are you sure you changed your realmlist? if you did, then you should clear out your cache

i changed my realmlist but whats cache

Are you using WoW.exe to launch the game or Launcher.exe
My suggestions:
When using 'Launcher.exe' Click options and select 'Do Not Download now'
Or you could rename or remove 'BackgroundDownloader.exe'
