Ascent and MangoS...
they are the two main emulators for World Of Warcraft Servers.

Basically they both have their ups and downs...but i cant think of a down in ascent.

so I recommend you using ascent if you do want to make a server.

Yes, Ascent is a good platform to start your wow server off of. It usally includes abunch of files to get your started with your own privateserver or making a server for lots of mates to come and play on. :)

I think Ascent is smoother than MaNGOS but..

Mangos is far more further developed and the guys at mangosproject are fucking smart :O
So less bugs in mangos.

I use ascent for fun server and mangos for bl1zzlike.
