Rerolling and Server Transfers

Q: Can I make a death knight (DK) right away?
A: Yes you can! The only limitations at launch are that you have a level 55 (or higher) character on that particular server. After the launch period has passed you will be able to make a death knight on any server, as long as you already have a level 55 or higher character on the account.

Q: Can I make a DK on one server then transfer it to another server where I have no characters?
A: Yes you can. However, when the release limitations are removed you will not be reimbursed for the transfer.

Q: Will there be any new servers when Wrath goes live?
A: For US there is one, Grizzly Hills (PVE).

Q: Well then.. is there some server that people here on BH/EoN are rerolling or transferring to?
A: If you are US and don't mind Horde or a PVE server, Spear and quite a few others are rerolling and transferring to Area 52 (Thread). If you're European and don't mind Alliance then get in touch with BlaQsheeP or check out his transfer/reroll thread.






Leveling and Instances

Q: Where do I start and how do I get there?
A: There are two starting zones - Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra. Both zones are accessed via Zeppelins (horde) and Boats (Alliance). To get to Borean Tundra you will need to hop aboard the zeppelin at Orgrimmar or take a boat from Stormwind Harbor. To access Howling Fjord, you'll need to catch the zeppelin at Undercity or the boat leaving Menethil Harbor (previously the Auberdine boat).

Q: What starting zone do you recommend?
A: At release, if you are Horde I would recommend going to Howling Fjord first. Orgrimmar tends to be the most populated Horde city, and the Zeppelin from there heads to Borean Tundra. If you are Alliance, which zone will be the most populated will depend on your server. If Ironforge is the busiest city, I wouldn't go to Howling Fjord, but if Stormwind is the trading capital then you might want to rethink going to Borean Tundra.
If population isn't an issue, I liked Howling Fjord more graphically. Borean Tundra has some pretty awesome quests with siege weapons though.

Q: I want to reach 80 fast, what do you recommend?
A: Jame has released a brand new leveling guide for Northrend and Death Knights! More information can be found on the WoW Europe forums. If a guide doesn't suit your fancy, Quest Helper is also functional and has many quests in its database!

Q: What instances are there, how do I get to them, and at what level can I do them?
A: There are quite a few new instances! 12, in fact, and that's not including raids.
